Continental is 25 "Continental was originally only issued in Japan in 1997, thanks to Shoichi Kajino and his L'Appareil Photo label. To my mind, it is an album we could have released worldwide in 1996 - the album that followed He's On The Phone and Too Young To Die. After the intensity of the first few years, it was a relief to play about with a variety of sounds (Eurodance! Glam! Library music! Drum and bass!) and because of that I think it sounded quite refreshing after the techno-folk of Tiger Bay, paving the way for the very sunlit Good Humor.
