A glimpse into the impressive depths of Sennefer’s Tomb! 😍 It is one of the most preserved and beautifully decorated tombs ever found in Egypt. Known as The Tomb of the Vineyards, it’s covered in colors and stories, and is buried deep in the mountain below 42 very steep steps. It gives the impression of standing beneath an overhanging vine arbour with large and numerous bunches of grapes on it. Sennefer was an important Egyptian official during the rule of Amenhotep II in ancient Egypt’s 18th dynasty. He was the Mayor of the Southern City. 🎥: @kbad_ #architectanddesign
