Italian Beef š
Smoked on the @biggreenegg over Pecan Chunks @bbcharcoal
Here's my bbq take on the Classic Italian Beef.
**this can be done in a crockpot, oven, or stovetop also, skip step 2**
Italian Beef
š„3-5lb Chuck Roast
š„1 Yellow Bell Pepper Sliced
š„1 Red Onion Sliced
š„3-6 cloves garlic
š„1 Jar Pepperoncini, 16oz
š„1 Can Beer 12oz
š„Italian Seasoning Blend
š„S&P
š„Ciabatta Rolls
š„Giardinara
1. Season Chuck Roast with S&P on all sides.
2. Place on 225° smoker over dutch oven to catch drippings. (Add a small bit of water to avoid burning)
3. Once decent bark has formed on meat, place all ingredients into dutch oven, cover and cook until meat is probe tender.
4. Let rest for 1 hour, and pull by hand or with forks.
5. Soak bun in au jus and top with meat, garnish with some giardinara.
6. Enjoy š»
