It’s the exhaustion beyond the action. The police reports, the rehashing, the cctv pulling. I will say though it’s clear that stores need to spend less time creating a black history month playlist and more time training their staff on how to handle certain situations because their response (or more importantly lack thereof) was bewildering. Fortunately for me the surrounding public were willing to stand in the gap but my my my, I’m tired.
