Uganda is an incredible giraffe conservation success story that shows what can be achieved when passionate people come together. Home to the largest population of critically endangered Nubian giraffe, we have partnered with the Uganda Wildlife Authority since 2013 to conserve this globally important population. Our multi-faceted conservation efforts have included translocations, education programmes, surveys and monitoring, and the incredible work of our dedicated mobile vet team in Murchison Falls National Park. There are now 5 healthy populations of Nubian giraffe in the country and numbers continue to increase steadily.
