Put pressure on City councilmembers Elefante & Kiaʻāina (you can find their contacts online or in our last #SaveNS post) to promote bills like 41 & 42 that • Allow shorelines to naturally migrate landward. • Close loopholes that allow property owners to harden the shoreline. • Develop holistic plans and financing mechanisms to relocate public and private property mauka. • Incorporate sea level rise into Hawaiʻi laws, planning activities, and public awareness.
