The 2022 Youth Conservation Program (YCP) in @grandtetonnps is officially underway. This year, seventeen young adults from across the U.S. will be working on trails to improve access, protect fragile habitat, and preserve historic sites throughout Grand Teton. Through the program, these young people will also learn about NPS career opportunities, and develop a personal conservation ethic. We're looking forward to another great YCP season in the park, and we are grateful for the many individuals, foundations, and corporations who support this transformational program. . . YCP began in 2006 and is a teen education, stewardship, and employment opportunity that provides much-needed repairs and improvements on heavily used park trails and historic sites. Over 1,000 young adults have participated in the program since it's inception. . .
