Someone said to me you can truly understand what help is when somebody helps you. All of the people I love the most helped me with this book and it has already opened doors that make me feel like we can do more beautiful things together. Having critical engagement with the book has made me feel like my work is actually being taken seriously and on its own terms — it feels surreal to know that we made no compromises with this story and it is still being considered with such openness and care. One of my highlights has been visiting and chatting with the bookshops who launched, 2021 listed, championed and beautifully window displayed KTH in all its noughties blues like @portybooks, @foylesforbooks, @pagesofhackney @dauntbooks, @waterstones and @lrbbookshop. Thank you too, to the very talented team at @burleyfisher who chose KTH as your book of the year. It's important to share these things because a book like mine that comes out with an independent press, with such a risky subject matter - from someone who grew up like me - is an uphill battle. A lot of struggles but a passionate and determined team surrounded this project. I want you to know that you are the source of all abundance. It is right within you, if you look after yourself and your energy. You can carry that energy to set goals, take meetings with yourself, nurture your passion projects and then experience your dreams happening before you. As long as there's a you. What next with work?
