"Practicing what I preach - the left side of my body has always been something I’m most insecure about, it’s where my scarring is heaviest and thickest. So, yesterday I sat down and focused on creating images that highlighted those scars and looked at them in a different light. When people look at you they aren’t just seeing one side, they’re seeing the whole picture - all of you. Hiding yourself through angles, editing, whatever it may be doesn’t make them go away and it means you’re missing out on seeing a whole other side of yourself. I looked at these photos with a whole new appreciation for the beauty on that side of my body.
