I say this with a heavy heart. Jamie Alexandra Phelps, my wife, best friend and partner in crime passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Jamie battled Cancer for 7 long years and showed me what the true definition of courage and strength really is. Every time life threw her an issue, she hit it head on, and defied the odds. She gained the respect of Doctors, nurses and anyone that had the good fortune of crossing paths with her. She set the example of how to never give up, and when life throws you problems, you step up and fight back. She inspired me to be a better person, and made me realize how precious life is. There is a huge hole in my life without her with me. I will miss talking to you every day, laughing and making you laugh. I will take great care of Winston and Charles knowing you loved them so much, and most likely, a little more than me. We talked about going through the door when you were ready, and now you can rest and be at peace. On what would be our 5 year anniversary, I say Jamie I love you more than you’ll ever know and will try to live the rest of my life with the courage, strength and dignity that you displayed every single day.
