How can you not be romantic about baseball ? ❤️‍🔥 While on a road trip with my family the last two weeks, I found inspiration for a photo project, something I had never tried before. I’ve always been inspired by my favorite street photographers @ioestreet @trevorwisecup @sarahvanrij @catbyrnes and many more. They bring such energy and beauty into everyday moments, making the ordinary extraordinary. I wanted to try my hand at capturing just that. My family has always been a baseball family. We consume it like a daily vitamin. We play it, we watch it, we love it. The skeleton of our road trip was to mark four more stadiums off our list of the 30 in Major League Baseball (I’m currently at 22/30): Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and Minnesota. I decided that there was no better place to capture the heart of America in its summer months than at a ballpark. People from all backgrounds, beliefs, and appearances come together to form a conglomerate of fanatics every night at venues across the country. My goal was to capture those people and what crazy, silly, ironic things they do when on the quest for an escape from reality. I am so proud of the final product that I’m able to share with the world, this is part one of three that I’ll share to my feed, and I’m hoping to create this into my first photo book in order to encapsulate this time in my life, the summer of 2022.
