I’ve always found peace and comfort in the night sky, despite a fear of the dark. Laying out under a blanket of a million stars always helps me realise that this world is a big one and there’s so much more out of our control. I like to think that when we die, we join the cosmos out there somehow, twinkling for eternity and showing the people back home that there is hope and peace to be found. It’s been a weird time to be in England today, as I’m sure many have also felt around the world. We’ve lost our Queen, our figurehead, and the one consistent comfort in all the ebb and flow of events of the past 70 years, and it brings the sting of losing my own grandmother just two weeks ago.
