I have a beautiful miracle story to share...or at least it’s a miracle to me 💘 Last week my little 12 yr old chihuahua Bowie wasn’t acting herself and we took her to the emergency vet. Four hours later they told us that she had a small heart murmur and was bleeding internally in her belly. The doctor suggested putting her down. We were shocked and said “ok” thinking she may have been declining in the back room without us. When they brought her out (IV in arm ready to be euthanized) I could tell that she seemed better. She was wagging her tail and walking on the ground fine. And even tho we brought her in she was still wanting to eat and went to the bathroom normal. So I stepped in and told them she’s telling me she isn’t ready! We took her home, I had a busy weekend booked with clients, shows, traveling and close friends. I canceled everything because hearing what the doctor told me made me think I would be spending her last moments with her. So immediately I looked up a holistic diet to feed her and by yesterday she was completely back to herself! I can’t believe she could have been gone already if I didn’t listen to my heart. I don’t know how much longer I have with her: years, months, weeks, days, moments, but I want to make sure she is as comfortable and happy as I can make her 😭🦇💕 We are getting ready to move next year and I hope she will be coming with us. To everyone who I canceled with this weekend or rescheduled, thank you so much for being understanding and tender with me 🙏🏼. It won’t go unforgotten 💘.
