Appreciation post (not just dedicated to my dog): I’ve made it a daily habit to tell people, who in one way or another, known or unknown, that I appreciate them. Stole it straight up from “Ted Lasso”, one of my muses. I don’t know, maybe for some it seems silly or naive, but I couldn’t think of a more rich way to be in life than to be full of appreciation of all the beauty that moves me, in one way or another. And to amplify it, by appreciating it. Connection, people. Sweet, deep, tender - even for a second, connection, is what makes life worth living. But in a world that yearns for intimacy but have forgotten how to sit with it, we gotta have a lil balls to throw a little love and endure (and enjoy) the vulnerability(and courage) when we look into someone’s eyes and say: I appreciate you 💘
