This leg of our basketball journey ended tonight. Not the way we thought it would but as Tate said tonight: IT’S GOD’S PLAN. Hearing him say that brings a peace to me in the midst of the sting of a loss and the pain of reaching the end of something that has been such a huge part of our life. But this road ends at another…one that will lead to new opportunities and experiences. And I can’t wait to make that turn and see where it takes Tate and us. I’ve spent many hours behind a lens over these last 4 years….tens of thousands of pictures to end up with a few hundred keepers. Pics of three pointers, contact layups, and even some awesome dunks. But I think this may be one of my favorites. Not a big highlight moment or super athletic play, just pure emotion of who this dude is when he steps on the court. You better bring it, because he’s definitely gonna bring it! Keep your head held high, son! This road ended, but not without you leaving a permanent mark in the history books of CHS Basketball! Make the turn with confidence and a desire to start the next leg of your journey. We will be right behind supporting you the whole way!
