Virtual Seder: we shared love instead of matzoh. Connie Wolf hosted a wonderful Passover gathering last night. We each described what we were grateful for in the midst of crisis. Afterwards, we read an updated, interactive (and 10 minute!) Haggadah. My favorite moment came when we sang the following verse to the tune of “Here Comes the Sun”: Little darling, the Nile’s a long, long bloody river/ Little darling, the frogs are falling from the skies/ Here Come the Plagues, Here Come the Plagues,/ (And God says) “It’s all blight”/. Given the plague we’re facing today, frogs falling from the skies don’t sound so bad. What we do have to pull us through is love and dedication to each other. Thank you Connie for gathering those forces last night.
