What I learned from going to Disney and Universal:
Although it’s expensive, it’s a MUST experience at least once in your life.
Stay at the @ritzcarltonorlando or @jwmorlando to be perfectly in the middle of both parks. (15 minute Uber to both locations).
Try to take long walks weeks before going ( I took 48,000 steps in two days which is nearly equivalent to a marathon) - my lower back is killing me.
Disney:
1. Prices are extremely expensive
2. Buy the genie + fast pass and BOOK your rides on the app in advance for faster wait times
3. Bring snacks because the food consists of pretzels and popcorn
4. Tower of terror = A+ ride for butterflies
5. Kids don’t go to school on weekdays
6. If you are going to just Disney, staying at one of their properties cuts down the prices.
Universal:
1. Fast pass is WORTH the extra $200
2. Velocicoaster is the best/ smoothest rollercoaster. (The others bang your head around)
3. Try to eat before because the food isn’t the healthiest
4. Don’t scare the actors (during Halloween horror nights, they can kick you out)
5. More adult rides than Disney- roller coasters, 3D and 4D effects
6. The animations throughout the rides are astonishing
Am I missing anything?! 😅
