Who was Charles A. Lindbergh? The celebrated aviator visited Germany in the late 1930s and grew to admire the Nazi regime’s emphasis on order. Lindberg would eventually become the chief spokesperson for an isolationist organization called the America First Committee. The Committee had some 800,000 members in 450 chapters all across the country, the largest anti-war organization in the history of the United States. Learn more about the history of the America First Committee during #USandTheHolocaustPBS, a film by Ken Burns, Lynn Novick and Sarah Botstein. Begins this Sunday at 8/7c.
