My favorite second born son started high school today. I am definitely more excited than him (you can hear it in my voice). Not sure what’s up with kids these days but I was stoked to start high school back in the day (I won’t tell you what year that was—hehe). I had my outfit picked out for weeks and everything was ready the night before. In fact, I still remember what I wore on the first day of my Freshmen year. It was a thing back then. You had to have the fresh gear. Y’all remember!!! I was up early, filled with excitement and ready to conquer 9th grade. I also couldn’t wait to hang out with friends, meet new people (especially the cuties) and play sports. These kids want to summer forever— one day they’ll realize just how special these milestone years are. At least, I hope so ☺️.
