🌟 It’s National Cancer Survivor’s Day! 🌟 This coming August will mark 2 years of being cancer free. 🙏🏽 🧿 • Today, I am thinking about my breast cancer journey. How far I have come. I am celebrating life, hope, the power of healing, and the incredible power of community. 🫶🏽 ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ • I am incredibly humbled and honored to announce that I have been chosen as one of eight women in the Chicagoland area to join an inspiring group of courageous and beautiful women for the inaugural Chicago “Portraits of Hope” ambassador program, in collaboration with the @americancancersociety ‘s @chicagomsabc Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. • Making Strides is the nation’s largest and most impactful breast cancer movement - a celebration of courage and hope, a movement uniting communities to end breast cancer as we know it, for everyone to honor survivors and thrivers, remember those we’ve lost, and offer up support to anyone in our community who’s been affected by it. • Being part of this program is truly humbling. It’s an opportunity to share my journey, inspire others, and continue the fight against breast cancer. • Healing is an ongoing journey, not just physically but also mentally. I am deeply grateful to everyone who has supported me, both near and far.
