Exciting news from Niger! During a recent monitoring trip the rangers spotted a new baby giraffe in Gadabedji Biosphere Reserve. We can now proudly report that two calves have been born here since the arrival of eight West African giraffe to the region through #Operationsahelgiraffe just over three years ago. It's these special moments that make all the hard work worthwhile!
