Or laid our eyes on each other was in Year 1 of secondary school in Lagos. Nigeria 🇳🇬 He was 12 & I was 11.5 & even though we never spoke, he made an impression that I gave him a nickname 😆 I ended up changing schools & the next time we saw each other again was almost 9 years later in Miami, FL at a Nigerian reunion for college kids. We spoke for the first time, exchanged numbers & promised to keep in touch but actually never did 😂 I moved to Atlanta from Athens, GA after college & we kept running into each other. The first time was at a local Best Buy. One random weekend in 2004 he called to invite me for his graduation party. I decided to attend, we danced that night & the next day he called me to say thank you & let’s just say, he never stopped calling since then 😆 We got married in 2008 in Atlanta & decided to renew our vows in the Maldives for our 13th anniversary. There have been LOTS 😅 of bumps along the way over the past 19plus years but through it all I am thankful to God for bringing me and my Babylove together. He is my best friend & honestly the nicest and kindest person I know.
