CHEF PORTRAITS - DAVE BERAN🧑‍🍳 When asked by Zagat/Infatuation to take some chef portraits, I jumped at the opportunity! I love food, obviously I love cocktails, and I love restaurant spaces/design, but it's the people behind them that interest me the most. I had heard of @pasjoli.sm (and the duck press) and was so pleased to start what would be a series of portraits of chefs. Fun Fact: Like many, Laurel and I became obsessed with @thebearfx . Triggering in the best way ~ what a perfect show ~ and I found out well after this shoot that Chef Beran helped guide Jeremy Allen White to become a chef rather than just play one on TV. I'd say he nailed it just like he nailed rendering this massive fish (halibut?). Thanks for your patience and hospitality chef!
