"When I think about the conditions we are going through now...my heart hurts." Delly lives in a town in Kasai-Oriental Province, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo with her children and husband Ousmane. Several years ago her family fled conflict in the region and walked for three months with their children to find safety. She lost two of her sons on the journey. The family resettled in an area without conflict, but an ongoing food crisis in DRC has left Delly and Ousmane struggling to feed their children. "There is shortage of food in the market here, not even a seed of corn right now."
