Check the link in my bio for full list of supplies used AND the super detailed blog post I wrote about this mid century modern Mainline Hooker furniture flip! 🥰❤️ Here’s how I did it! 👇🏼 + sanded off the finish on all with 120 grit + Mixed @The Real Milk Paint Co. oxalic acid with hot water, apply to surface & waited for it to dry + neutralized surface with borax water solution Reapply as needed. Neutralize with borax water solution. + applied wood glue to fix floppy veneer + used epoxy putty to fix in any areas of chipped veneer, sanded down with 120 grit once it was dry + applied #therealmilkpaintco hemp oil to every part of the dresser that had veneer + wiped off excess with lint free cloth (takes 30 days to fully cure!) + prayed old hardware with metallic gold spray paint + applied #rmpco soft wax in clear to drawer slides for them to glide better Now....
