#FragranceFriday today! What scent did you reach for this morning? These are my 2 most recent selections from @dossier.perfumes : ✨Fruity Honey [inspired by Jo Malone’s Nectar Blossom & Honey Cologne] ✨Woody Sandalwood [Inspired by Le Labo Fragrances' Santal 33] I went into this thinking, one I was surely going to love and the other would be a wildcard. So how did I do? Well, the one I thought I was going to ‘surely love’ didn’t smell at all what I imagined. I imagined a soft, creamy scent of honey with the lightest but discernible note of nectarine. This scent is more ‘green’ to me with a subtle underlying sweetness. But that makes sense since Green Leaves and Black Current are it’s top notes. Woody Sandalwood was my wildcard. I wanted to get something different from the scents I usually go for. This sounded bold, and masculine... we could even say a bit rugged (just for clarity, I didn’t get this for myself hahah). This scent is definitely all of those things. It’s a risky choice for sure because it’s definitely not everyone’s cup of tea. I’m still deciding if it’s mine.
