💔 These two filmmakers left and indelible impression on cinema...and also on me as a young film school student. I watched the movies they made together over and over, trying to absorb the magic they made as a team. Anna Karina passed away this weekend and I am very sad, but also very grateful that I was able to take enormous inspiration from the seemingly effortless je ne sais quoi of performances. She is a legend and will be missed!
