Rita’s x Oranj collab 🚨I contributed a grubby sun-print poster for my beloved @ritasdining and their collaboration with @oranjwine for their July case! Missy and Cameron curated a box of 5 delicious wines with very thoughtful (as always) notes 💕 Gabe has bottled up his 10/10 Rita’s ‘hot water chilli oil’ 🪓 and Fervent Moon has made a dreamy mix to accompany everything🌛 I started working FOH at bodega Rita’s in 2019. For this poster I made a series of sun prints using wine bottles I’d brought home from work last year, the glasses to be used in the new restaurant, corks, cutlery and plant matter that related to the new terrace garden. My image making process often revolves around glorified hoarding - I am sentimental, I love the presence of the life and history of objects in images, I love recycling and layering and mashing bits of meaning together to create something amalgam & new(ish). Past and present bits of tableware etc. tries to visualise the aura of the new restaurant. We thought that these prints felt a bit like a messy tablecloth after a long sun filled lunch 🌼 hopefully we’ll get to have some of those now summer is back! the cases are available in 2 or 5 bottles and can be bought through the Oranj website✨✨✨
