For those of you who know me, you know that I’ve got love for my hometown. Born and raised in Seattle, these are the places and restaurants that are forever in my DNA. 💥😋 @getbento & @clovercommerce asked me to come up with a list of my favorites that keep me fed and inspired. From the Dungeness Crab Roll at @localtide to the Oyster Miso Rockefeller at @manekiseattle, Seattle is filled with so many amazing independent restaurants. These are the places that make ME feel at home. . Check out my list, along with my not so secret recs below😉#Ad 1. @omart1973 in Pike Place Market: Owned and operated by the legendary Tita Lei. It’s one of the first places I go to after a long trip. Her Salmon Belly Sinigang is straight FIRE! 2. @manekiseattle: I’ve known Jean since I was little and my dad has been going there since the 70’s. This place is the epitome of comfort. My go to orders are the Oyster Miso Rockefeller and the Black Cod Collar. I may or may not add on the Mackerel Saba too. 3. @phobacseattle : Owned by the Pham Sisters, Yenvi and Quynh, this place is my go to for Pho. Their broth is consistent and their tendon is out of this world. Don’t forget to order the Fried Spring Rolls. 4. @localtide: Located in Fremont (a neighborhood in Seattle), this place is not to miss. Vic has a passion for cooking food that is so very Pacific Northwest. His team is amazing and the damn Crab Roll is worth the wait. 5. @bardelcorsoseattle: This is the first place that I came back to after living in Italy, where I ate something that brought me back. I literally had tears while eating my pizza. Don’t miss their Polpettine - best meatballs in Seattle... Hands down. Save some sauce and drip your crusts in it. You won’t regret it. 6. @itsumonoseattle: If you want a true Seattle experience - head down here. Located in Seattle’s International District. It is run by a true dream team - TN and Mike holding down the bar and Sean and crew in the kitchen. Menu is rotating and they are truly some of the best hosts in this city.
