Always a Florida girl 🌞 I have been driving a boat (with assistance) since I was a kid and then I officially got my boaters license when I was in middle school. I got scuba certified 2 years later and I remember my grandpa said “your officially a Florida girl now”. It wasn’t until I moved away from Florida that I realized how much that title means to me. I will always be grateful that I had the privilege to grow up around the ocean. That I never had any fear of the ocean because it always felt like home. Little kid Julia would be so proud of the Florida girl she has become. (I think my grandpa would have preferred it ended with the dive certification and it didn’t morph into an addiction to swim with every dangerous animal in the ocean but you can’t win at everything) 🦈
