This is a message to all of you who raised our voices together to ask "Who made my clothes?" Today, We, Fashion Revolution Iran have to raise our voice for an unfair oppression and injustice in Iran. The women who make our clothes can't choose what to wear and are being arrested, beaten and killed for simply choosing what to wear. Clearly, this injustice is not limited only to the right of the clothes but also includes the right to have freedom in many other aspects such as freedom of belief, freedom of religion, freedom of press and more. We learned together that we can make a change, we started by simply asking a question "Who made our clothes" to bring justice and safer work conditions to people who makes our clothes. We set about demanding change & we think we have succeeded. Even though there are still lots of causes that we need to stand together to change them for our world, for our future. Here, in Iran, there is a very important one, not only for Iran but for all women, and not only for women but for all human beings who demand a brighter future. In Fashion Revolution we raised our voice so that finally governments and leaders heard us and now we are seeing some changes in their policies. We can do the same here, we can make the governments that believe in human rights use every tool at their disposal to support the protestors in Iran and ensure that those responsible for violence and repression are held to account. Let's be a part of this chain for a better world and raise our voices for women in Iran, let the governments and policy makers hear us!
