Me and My good friend @northernbuilt have made some t-shirts inspired by the signs that people held after the new cross fire that killed 14 young black people in 1981. The design comes from a placard that was held up in protest of the disregard of the lives lost in a tragic house fire, which is now known as the New Cross massacre. The fire was a little more than suspicious but due to the lack of care and concern of the establishment at the time, it went uninvestigated.
Hand silk-screened on heavyweight Russel Athletic shirts, all profits will be going to the George Padmore institute and the New Beacon book store who archive African and Afro Caribbean literature artwork and educational material.
