The Prosciutto & Herb 🦃 Bird FTW ! and... a Plate FULL of family favorites. SIL’s Turkey was a winner ! w/ stuffing, mash & gravy, roasted brussels & 🥓, brussel gratin, nephew’s creamy corn casserole, roasted sweet potatoes (w/ marshmallows !) and Both cranberries, jelly & chunky, for a house divided😂. Oh, and PIE(s) ! Plates were loaded & family around the table... couldn’t ask for anything More ! Hope you all had a beautiful 🦃Day✨! . SIL’s Prosciutto Wrapped Bird... she started w/ a small 16 pounder, seasoned inside & out, stuffed w/ apples & herbs. ‘Smothered’ in butter & covered w/ prosciutto & herbs. Into an oven bag w/ onion wedges under (don’t @ me about the bag. It’s her family’s method & you don’t mess w/ family😂). On a rack, 350° until breast hits 161-163°. This one took about 2 1/2 hrs.
