What can a foil pull do for you? In many of my blonding services (especially teasylights) I like to pull the foils at the chair, work out the tease with my fingers and blend the excess lightener through the mids and ends. Why is this beneficial? 1. Working out the tease on dry hair with your fingers is gentler on the hair and saves you time. Now you won’t spend excess time at the bowl gently working hundreds of tiny knots in fragile wet hair. 2. Working the excess lightener through the mids and ends of the hair creates an added glow to the finished look. It sunkisses the rest of the hair. Remember not to let it sit for too long. You are not looking for significant lift with this just a kiss of brightness. I love using the @kenraprofessional blue lightener for this technique. It offers gorgeous lift and the lightener maintains a nice slip though out this process.
