Happy @thetonyawards! Believe it or not I won one of these a long long time ago. 10 years to be exact. I grew up dreaming of the day I might be lucky enough to attend the awards never thinking I would ever perform on the show let alone be blessed with a Tony for my work. I learned something at my first and only Tonys so far. The night is not about who wins, who loses, or even who is nominated. It is a chance to celebrate every show of the season and the people who make them happen. The last few years have been rough and the community has never worked so hard to keep Broadway going.m and so tonight I am so thankful that we can get back to that celebration. I may never be lucky enough to attend the Tonys again but I will always be a fan of Broadway, this night, and all the people that make it possible. Happy Tony Awards!!
