A painting inspired by my family in a frame I picked up from the Laney College flea market in the early 1990s, in front of a classic @goldbergjim photo from his Raised by Wolves project. These are both in the care of my firstborn @bigpearlyteeth in her new NYC apartment. This year she starts her practice at Cooper Union. I’m dizzy with excitement for her. Including myself and my pop John Jagel, Ruby will be 3rd generation of Jägels to go to art school. It’s a lineage. Wish her luck and stay tuned for updates📿🪱🔗🎶🥲
