& the imposter syndrome kicks in 😅 There are so many people that think I’m an expert at everything hair. I ask myself regularly “how can other stylist believe that about me?” For me: I’m so aware of all of the things I don’t know and the techniques I want to learn. I’m sharing this for the stylist who are also doubting their talents, craft, or skills. I’m sharing this to let you know that feeling never truly goes away even if you shake it off for a bit. I’m mainly sharing this to let you know you’re not alone and we all are wishing we were better at something. We all want to be like someone we follow or admire, but the only way to get to where their at is to believe in yourself first and then the opportunities are endless. The strongest factor for excelling in your career is self belief. Believing you can do it, believing you deserve it, and believing you’ll get it. Change your mindset. Turn those mental blocks into building blocks. Growth is shutting down those voices in your head that say “I’m not good enough” or “I can’t” and start telling yourself “I can” and “I will be good enough.” #hairstylist #hairstylistofinstagram #hairstylistreels
