I dont usually make posts on this day but there's only a few reasons I'd get up this early, and spending time WITH community to Support those who are serving the community is at the top of the list. @godslovenyc was started in the 80's during the AIDS crisis to people who were unable to provide for themselves and in many cases couldn't leave the house and they've been getting up before the sun to Cook healthy and nutritious FREE meals to thousands, DAILY for decades including during the holidays. Now they've grown and are sending meals for an average 15,000 people dealing with health issues, chronic conditions that affect their ability to literally put food on the table. Big thanks to Erich, Edward, and Emmett and EVERYONE who works and volunteers DAILY. It was an honor to help prepare 2000 holiday meals with them... but if I NEVER see another Turkey leg again...🦃
