What was making the process of the song like? FULL INTERVIEW LINK: https://youtu.be/AOlOpz8rscM Fun fact: #PERLASPROJECT was a journey that started back late 2017 for a show called “Rewritten” with @movementwithamessage that premiered @decidedlyjazz back in November 2018. It was in this show process, that the main artists of rewritten got together to dive deeply into issues of sex, relationships, racism and colonialism. Since then, some of the artists involved in the show continued to grow in the process of contributing to the conversations surrounding these issues. The song “Beautiful Child” is a product of that process and a collaboration between @rubixhiphop @kriziacanvas and we’ve worked to perfect the song for 2 years before we released it in Spotify. The song is meant to empower the Filipino community by reminding the Filipino to never forget their culture.
