Where there’s smoke... the Zion National Park wildland fire crew is managing a fire. No need to report, this is a controlled burn. Prescribed fire helps us manage vegetation in the park. Without operations like this, a potential wildfire would be more difficult to contain and control. But don’t worry! Our fire crew only does prescribed burns when the conditions are perfect, just like they are today!
