The “8000ft” film update. As challenging as piecing the puzzle together to climb the Whole Enchilada, I feel a similar weight making this film. I am so sorry to say that the premier at Sea Otter isn’t going to happen. With this project being a big one for me I just can’t rush the process. We are thinking July for the new release date. . Here are two photos from Oct 5th when I went for the entirety of the climb as well as a few clips from when I went down in May 2021 to figure out the intricacies of a few particular climbs. The most daunting one is called the Snotch. Clip 5&6. The Snotch feature is 4000 ft and 14 miles into the climb. Daunting to say the least. . I also want to add... to anyone and everyone who has given me a dose of encouragement or support on this journey THANK YOU! To those who are dealing with real life mountains... I hope this film shows a process of figuring out challenging things and can impact people to make it through their own mountains. Whatever those look like. I know I will cherish this experience for the rest of my life and will pull from it when I’m dealing with life challenges we all inevitably face. . Thanks again for all the support.
