Have you seen the Reel on @ottolenghi’s account about ‘the ultimate cheese on toast’? This is also a teaser recipe from their new cookbook ‘Extra Good Things’. They share 3 versions........ @ottolenghi is spicing up his cheese toast with jammy peppers. @noorishbynoor is making cheese on toast with quick chilli sauce that is not for the faint hearted (I did not touch my face after slicing the green peppers 😜). @verenalochmuller is adding pickled red onions and pickled green peppers to her cheese toast. I thought I try some of these for lunch and made all three versions on Sunday. They are all amazing but if I have to choose, the jammy peppers are definitely my number one, the quick chili sauce is my number two and the pickled chilies and onions are in third place. Which is still a good place to be in in my opinion 😁. And if I don’t have to choose I would just make all three of them to have more then one flavour. Let me know if you like to try this recipe.
