The Chez Panisse family is mourning the tragic loss of our beloved Jonathan Waters. For nearly forty years, Jonno was an essential presence in the dining room, with a keen palate, an extraordinary sense of hospitality, and the will and ability to mentor a generation of wine and food professionals. He was a dear friend to so many of us and devoted father to his wonderful daughter. His warmth, humor, and eagerness to engage with the world will be missed.
