#TheTerritory is more than just a documentary; it is a collaboration between the Uru-eu-wau-wau Media Team and an international production company, one that is being used to support the ongoing efforts of Indigenous Land Defenders. We aim to use the film to accomplish three primary goals: ⭐ Amplify Indigenous Voices ⭐ Protect Indigenous Land ⭐ Advance Strategic Wins In the past month alone we've worked with our partners to: ⭐ Screen the film and hold dialogues with Indigenous leaders from dozens of different groups across Brazil. ⭐ Begin construction of the Jupaú Cultural Center and Multimedia Hub in the Uru-eu-wau-wau territory, to support the growing Media Team that collaborated on the film. ⭐ Push for strategic policy goals to support Indigenous Land Defenders, through private screenings and meetings with more than 300 policy makers and leaders in the US, UK, and E.U.
