Winged Bull in the Elephant Case will be broadcast once again, on BBC Four at 8:30pm (BST) TONIGHT The film recalls a remarkable chapter in the National Gallery's history when, during the Second World War, our paintings were stored for safekeeping in a disused slate mine in Wales. Directed in collaboration with @robinfriendstudio, Rhodri Huw and myself, the film follows the journey of a National Gallery painting that has taken human form, as it tries to save its friends and get back home to London.
