25 years ago this month, fans attending the “Star Wars: A Look Back and a Look Ahead” panel at the 1997 San Diego Comic-Con were given an unexpected treat – a first public viewing of the so-called “lost Biggs” footage that had famously been cut from “A New Hope” after George Lucas felt it hampered the film’s pacing.
