A question I get asked the most is how I leverage off-camera flash to create some of my work. To me, the key is in finding the perfect balance between flash and ambient light. Learning this technique will allow you to create a consistent look regardless of your light conditions. In this case, we had a bit of an overcast, but I still wanted to create dynamic images with contrast and loads of detail. The equipment used was a #profoto #b10plus strobe with a #ocf 2’x3’ strip (my favorite modifier). I shot it with the almighty #canonr5. Scroll to see the light setup, but also know that you can shoot this reverse (where the sun is in the main light). I encourage you to try it, and have fun experimenting. Of course, if you have any questions, please ask below, but if you want to learn all the details and see the behind-the-scenes, I am now very active on YouTube posting everything I know, check it out and while there, please consider subscribing; it’s free ;-)
