In case you were wondering how you properly warm up an 11,000 horsepower Top Fuel dragster follow these few easy steps. 😂

1: Don’t bash your head on the canopy when you climb in. It sucks... trust me.
2: Turn electrical systems and Co2 systems on.
3: Let the guys turn the motor over counter clockwise by hand.
4: Once the guys spray methanol in it, fire it up for a second or 2 so it primes the oil.
5: Restart the motor on methanol and with your left hand you’ll find a red handle, this is what blends the nitro into engine. Watch the GPM readout on the dash and adjust it to 5-6gpm flow rate.
6: Once you get the signal slowly let the clutch out to let the tires start spinning this helps warm the clutch and rear end up.
7: Push the clutch in and pull the brake with your right hand (no brake pedal).
8: Once given the signal, FLOOR IT. Note, the throttle cable is disconnected so the engine will continue to idle but this initiates all the timers for clutch engagement and fuel enrichment solenoids.
9: Once the crew chief determines all is good, pull the brakes again and shut the fuel off to kill the engine.
10: Exit vehicle without bashing your head on the canopy. It sucks..trust me 😎 #TopFuel @antronbrowntf @nhra @arbettsllc
