🚨 Today is slated to reach a possible 100 degrees. That’s well above the normal range for us here, and we have to stay extremely on top of all the needs for residents in the heat. The team has been working hard to make sure that the areas are all prepped for the weather today. We’ve had to set up extra fans and shade, freeze packs, fill pools and wallows, and pass out watermelon and other frozen treats to anyone who needs it. It’s a lot of work given the number of residents we have here, and of course there’s the cost of the extra supplies.
