We all stand to be corrected in life, and while I may not favor any one tribe, it’s important to apply logic to the ongoing sentiment against the Ashantis. There is nothing wrong with any group celebrating their culture and taking pride in their traditions. Like every tribe, the Ashantis have their flaws, but we do not let those flaws overshadow the positive contributions we’ve made. When it comes to the complex history between Ashantis and the great African icon, Osaagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, it’s a matter that today’s youth cannot judge fairly. We must acknowledge that everyone has imperfections, so it is unwise to pass judgment based solely on hearsay. If we look beyond Ghana, we can see how various African tribes, such as the Zulus in South Africa, the Igbo and Yoruba in Nigeria, proudly highlight their cultural heritage without being labeled tribalistic. Many cultures around the world—British, Indian, Chinese, Ecuadorian, Pakistani, Jewish—celebrate their traditions with pride. Why then, should it be seen as divisive when Ghanaians do the same? Hyping your culture is not tribalism; it only becomes an issue when it is driven by hatred or exclusion. As Ghanaians, we are one nation and one Africa, despite our tribal differences. The real issue lies not in celebrating our culture but in allowing tribal politics to divide us. Ashantis alone cannot decide the fate of our nation. If we are tired of the existing political system, then together, as Ghanaians, we must seek alternatives and decide for ourselves the path forward. The focus should be on uniting with a common goal to build a better Ghana, rather than on fighting over divisions that only hold us back. Let’s rise above unnecessary conflicts and work toward a shared vision for our country. We have one visionary youth in the race who thinks and wanks better things for Ghana. We can try him. @Africa Liberation Movement @Asanteman Gent-BE @Let’s preach Africa 🌍 #proudashanti🇬🇭 #explore #foryou #trending #fypシ #viralvideo #harmlesspoison #mamaafrica #daddylumbasongs #daddylumbafans #asantenii #proudasante
